Refund & Cancellation Policy

LegendMods handles a mix of standard, project-based, custom, and made-to-order automotive products and services. Because many items may be customised or build-specific, refund eligibility may vary depending on the nature of the order and production stage. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

1. General

Refunds, returns, replacements, or store credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to order type, product condition, confirmation status, and applicable law.

2. Customer Cancellation

For custom or made-to-order products, cancellation terms depend on the production stage. If a customer cancels within 24 hours after payment and production has not started, we may provide a refund minus any non-refundable payment processing fees. If a customer cancels after 24 hours but before production has started, up to 50% of the order amount may be refunded, after deducting design, administration, and payment processing costs. After 48 hours, orders are generally considered to have entered preparation or production stage and are not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or refund. This cancellation policy does not limit any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer law where a product is faulty, incorrect, or not as described.

3. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Unless otherwise required by law, the following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once confirmed or produced: custom-made items, made-to-order products, build-specific products, fitment-specific products, design files, products prepared to customer requirements, installed, used, modified, or damaged items, and clearance or final-sale items.

4. Standard Items

For eligible standard items, return requests may be considered if the item is unused, in original condition, returned in original packaging where applicable, requested within a reasonable period after delivery, and supported by proof of purchase. Approval of any return remains subject to inspection and confirmation. If a return is approved, original shipping charges are generally non-refundable and only the eligible product amount will be refunded, unless otherwise required by law or where the return is due to our confirmed error.

5. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Items

If a product is received in an incorrect, damaged, or clearly defective condition, customers should contact us promptly with order details, a description of the issue, photos showing the item and packaging, shipping label photos, and relevant supporting information. If the issue is verified, we may offer an appropriate remedy such as replacement, repair, partial refund, full refund, replacement panel, or store credit depending on the circumstances.

6. Change of Mind

Change-of-mind returns are not guaranteed and may not be accepted for custom, special-order, made-to-order, design-file, or project-specific items. If a change-of-mind return is approved for an eligible standard item, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any non-recoverable costs.

7. Shipping Costs

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or where the return is due to our confirmed error.

8. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

9. Inspection and Approval

All returned items, where accepted, may be subject to inspection before any refund, replacement, or credit is approved.
